Using AI is all the talk these days, including talk about AI in real estate sales and how it will be replacing agents and many other careers.

You know, I am sure some jobs very likely will be replaced with AI, I certainly don’t think the real estate agent is one of them though. Having said that, I do think that AI is going to change the way we “do real estate”.

I saw a quote recently that said something like: “AI won’t replace real estate agents, but agents that use AI will replace the ones that don’t.”

I actually don’t believe that is true either. Real estate always has been and always will be a relationship business and so there always will be agents that just do things the “old fashioned” way and they will do just fine.

What I do believe, is that AI can make our job easier and that we can get things done much faster by using a number of AI tools. We also will be able to get things done in a more cost effective manner!

How AI in Real Estate Sales Is Changing Things

One of the biggest ways I see AI in real estate sales making an impact is in how we communicate and market ourselves. Writing listing descriptions used to take me a good chunk of time. Now I can use AI tools to generate a strong first draft in minutes and then add my personal touch to it. The same goes for email newsletters, social media posts, and even blog posts like this one.

Think about all the content we need to create as agents — just-listed posts, market updates, buyer tips, seller tips, neighborhood spotlights. AI makes creating all of that content so much faster and easier. That means more time for what actually matters — being in front of clients and building relationships.

AI Tools That Are Actually Useful for Agents

Not all AI tools are created equal, and honestly a lot of them are just hype. The ones I have found most useful are the ones that help me save time on tasks I was already doing. Things like:

The key is finding the tools that fit into your workflow and actually save you time rather than creating more work learning something complicated.

AI Won’t Replace the Human Side of Real Estate

At the end of the day, people buy and sell homes based on trust. They want an agent who listens, who understands their situation, and who genuinely has their best interests at heart. No AI tool is going to replace that human connection anytime soon.

What AI can do is free up more of your time so you can focus on those relationships. Less time on administrative tasks and content creation means more time actually talking to clients, going on appointments, and growing your business.

That is really the opportunity here — not using AI to do your job for you, but using it to do more of the things that actually grow your business.

My AI Notes and Resources

I have been doing a ton of research and learning about the best AI tools and how to effectively use them recently. I have put my notes into a download that I am sharing. If you are like me and you are focused on learning how to take advantage of these tools grab my notes here.

It’s just a quick download, nothing fancy. I am learning and using A in real estate sales more every day and I thought my notes might help you.
